SSC CGL salaries after the 8th Pay Commission are expected to increase by approximately 30–40% from the current 7th CPC structure, depending on the final fitment factor and changes in DA and HRA.
For SSC CGL posts (Pay Level 4 to Level 8), this will mean a significant increase in basic pay, in-hand salary, and long-term earnings.
The 8th Pay Commission is expected to revise the entire pay matrix, with the minimum basic pay expected to double compared to the 7th CPC. Furthermore, the fitment factor and the revised pay matrix could significantly increase basic pay.
For SSC CGL posts, this will mean higher starting basics for each pay level, and correspondingly higher DA, HRA, and TA, resulting in a nearly double salary increase.
