​Delhi Police constables are employed under Pay Level 3, where the basic pay is Rs 21,700 in the 7th Pay Commission and is expected to increase with a fitment factor of 1.92–2.5 in the 8th Pay Commission from 2026.
The current in-hand salary as per the 7th Pay Commission is Rs 38,500–43,500 per month, which may increase to over Rs 60,000 after the 8th Pay Commission. The salary is expected to be almost double the previous salary due to allowances like DA (0%), HRA (27%) and TA.

The 8th Pay Commission doubles the pay scale, from ₹43,400 to ₹50,400. The DA will initially be reset and will continue to increase at an annual 3% increase, and the HRA will be added to the salary after 8 years.
